This week, we went to see Harold the Giraffe in his classroom. We learnt about eating fruits and vegetables to stay healthy.

Blue Light Disco

On Friday, we had a Disco. we had so much fun. Here is a video of Year 1 & 2 children dancing at the disco.

Moving Around

At the library, we have been talking about different ways we move around. Here is an Animoto video to share our learning.

Animal Homes

At the library, we have been using Ipads to create a Picture Collage. We chose a background and inserted pictures of different animal homes.  Here is a video showing our amazing work.

Happy Birthday

On Saturday, it was D-Max's birthday. His family brought in a special cake to share with us.

100 Days at School

On 24th July, we celebrated 100 days at School. A special visitor came to our school and she was 100 years old. Thank you for coming to our school Mrs Alred and we hope you come and see us again. Watch the video to find out what we did in different classes.

Happy Birthday Noah

Last Thursday, we celebrated Noah's birthday. His mum brought in a cake. Thank you Noah for sharing your cake with us.

Belonging Rotation

Last Friday, we made passports. After first break, we went on a journey. In A3, we talked about "Belonging Kites". In A4, we made greenstone necklaces. In A1, we packed our bags and filled our tickets. In A2, we exercised and talked about our body. Here is our video sharing the Language Experience.

Happy Birthday Karissa

On Sunday, it was Karissa’s birthday. She is 6 years old. On Monday, she brought cupcakes for us. Here is our video thanking Karissa. 

Best TRUMP Class

On Monday, we had Junior Assembly. Here is a video telling you about our new certificate that will be on display for the next two weeks.

Samoan Language Week

This is a new song, we learnt during Samoan Language Week. Sing along if you know the words.

ANZAC Week

During ANZAC week, we made ANZAC biscuits and poppies. On Friday, we had a special ANZAC assembly. We made ANZAC biscuits with A4 and a Wreath for our ANZAC assembly.

Sculpture Trail

Last term, we were so busy making sculptures to go in Our Living Classroom. Yesterday, we had a Sculpture Trail. Our families were invited to look at the sculptures different classes have made. Here is a video of the Sculptures in Our Living Classroom.

Addition to our Playground

Shining Armour

The inspiration came from reading "Watercress Tuna and the Children of Champion Street". After reading the book, we sketched some Tuna.We have used old CD's to put on our Tuna. The paints were chosen by Challyse. We drilled the CD's onto our Tuna. Levi thought of the name for our sculpture.  Here is a video of our Sculpture Journey. Our Sculpture will be placed in Our Living Classroom.




Sculpture Trail will take place on 22nd and 23rd April.

Our Living Classroom

This term, we are talking about Change. We went for a walk down to the Living Classroom to see how it has changed over Christmas Break.We now have more plants, vegetables and a pathway. We are going to make sculptures for our Living Classroom. A3 children have decided to use old CDs to make eels. Here is our adventure.
