100 Days at School
On 24th July, we celebrated 100 days at School. A special visitor came to our school and she was 100 years old. Thank you for coming to our school Mrs Alred and we hope you come and see us again. Watch the video to find out what we did in different classes.

Belonging Rotation
Last Friday, we made
passports. After first break, we went on a journey. In A3, we talked about
"Belonging Kites". In A4, we made greenstone necklaces. In A1, we packed our bags and filled our tickets. In A2, we exercised and

ANZAC Week
During ANZAC week, we made ANZAC biscuits and poppies. On Friday, we had a special ANZAC assembly. We made ANZAC biscuits with A4 and a Wreath for our ANZAC assembly.

Our Living Classroom
This term, we are talking about Change. We went for a walk down to the Living Classroom to see how it has changed over Christmas Break.We now have more plants, vegetables and a pathway. We are going to make sculptures for our Living Classroom. A3 children have decided to use old CDs to make eels. Here is our adventure.

Botanic Gardens
At the end of last term, we went to Auckland Botanic Gardens to learn about planting seeds. we walked around the Gardens, looking at different sculptures to put in Our Living Classroom. Here is a video of children planting a seed, sweeping and digging.

Expo Reactions
After the Sustainability Expo, we have recorded our favourite part about the Expo. Some of the children have shared their response. Here is a video of A3 and A4 children sharing their favourite part. The video ends with A4 children singing the worm poem that they have learnt in class.

Botanic Gardens
Last Wednesday, B5, B6, A3 and A4 went to the Botanic Gardens to learn about Invertebrates on our Doorstep. We walked around looking at different plants, and trees. After that, we went into the classroom to learn about Invertebrates. We saw the Worm Farm and the Compost Bins. Here is our video.
