Samoan Language Week

Last week, we celebrated Samoan Language Week. We learnt the song "Little Birdy". Listen to us sing and sing along if you know the song.

Morphing

On Thursday, we went to the library. At the library, Ms Clark showed us how to use the Morphing tool using KID PIX on the computer. The children worked on their photos and this is what they have come up with.

What have we learnt about Fire Safety?

This term we have been learning about Fire Safety. After watching "Tamati and Sam", we have made a video of the things we have learnt about being safe from Fire. Have a look and tell us other ways of being safe around Fire.

I Can Write

Last week, we read the big book " I CAN WRITE". We have made our own version of it. Have a look at the different places where we can write.

Sun Smart

Our topic this term is Safety. At the moment, we are learning how to be Sun Safe. We have made a video of about that shows how to be Sun Safe.

Year 6 Dinner and Dance

Last Friday, Year 6 children had their Annual Dinner and Dance. The VW room was decorated and we were allowed to go and have a look. It was beautiful. Here are our pictures.

Shapes

We have been learning about shapes. As an activity, we looked around the classroom and out at the playground and found circles, squares and triangles. Here is a slideshow of some shapes we found inside and outside our classroom.

Pyjama Party

On Wednesday, we had our Junior Pyjama Party. The teachers and the children wore their Pyjamas. It was great fun and some of the children had hot chocolate.
